This collection is inspired by Gerald Durrell’s Corfu trilogy (“My Family and Other Animals”, “Birds, Beasts and Relatives”, and “The Garden of the Gods”), where the 1930s adventures of a British family living in the island of Corfu are described. Durrell was a 8-year old boy when his family moved there - the books reflect his love for the nature, for exploring the island each day, and for observing animals, plants, rocks... living a free and happy childhood, surrounded by his hilarious family and the very nice people from the island. When this little boy grew up, e became a great naturalist and a writer famous all over the world.
These books transmit freedom, joy and fun- we love that! And we hope that we got to reflect that in our collection.
